Measuring Cupcake Inserts

Cupcake Box Inserts are measured length x width x height. Then the openings for the cupcakes are measured by diameter.

  • For the Length: Start with the longest side of the insert and measure it from left to right.
  • For the Width: At the bottom of the insert, measure from front to back.
  • For the Height: Measure the insert from the bottom of the bendable fold down flap to the top of the flap.
  • For the Diameter of the Cupcake Opening: Measure across the widest part of the opening.

Our round cupcake liners and round or oval baking cups are available in a variety of sizes and colors, and feature a grease-proof interior for better performance in making and serving your sweets. Use them for muffins, cupcakes, tarts, cookies, eclairs, and other pastries.

To measure these baking cups or cupcake liners, We measure diameter by height. For this example, we have a 1-1/4 inch x 3/4 inch candy cup. The first size is the diameter, and the second size is the height.

  • For the Diameter: Measure the straight line across the center of the circle of the cupcake liner.
  • For the Height: Measure from the top to bottom of the wall of the cup.
