Measuring Ballotin Boxes

Ballotin Boxes are a folding candy box that tapers, getting smaller at the bottom. The box's measurements are at the bottom of the box.

For this example, we have a 6-5/8 x 3-3/4 x 3-1/2" box. The first size is the length, the second size is the width, and the last size is the height.

• For the Length: Position the longest side of the box in front of you, then measure from left to right.
• For the Width: measure from front to back.
• For the Height: measure from top to bottom.
• Candy Trays for Ballotin Boxes are measured a the top of the tray. This measurement will be larger than the box, due to the box being measured at the bottom, which is its smallest point. The top of the tray will fit due to the angle of the box getting larger toward the top of the box.
